Brunshaw Avenue - distraction burglary

Good afternoon,

We have received a report of a distraction burglary on Brunshaw Avenue. 

Yesterday (13th), at around 21:30, a male knocked on the victims address, asking for a glass of water. The victim has allowed the suspect in to property.

The suspect has left, and the victim has noticed the house keys, car keys, and car has been taken.

The car has been located, unfortunately not in a very good condition.

The suspect is described as being a white male, tall, slim build, black hair, with no front teeth. He was wearing an all black tracksuit, with orange on the joggers, and a black bobble hat.

If you have any CCTV in the area, please review footage from around 21:20-21:50. If your CCTV has captured this male, please reply to this message.

Please be reminded not to allow anyone you do not know in to your property, and always be mindful to keep valuables, such as keys, hidden from view.
